We hope that all our clients are staying safe and well.  We are continuing to take new instructions from clients who are keen to put their affairs in order at this time and to progress other matters on which they require legal advice and assistance.

We are extremely busy with instructions for new Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.  We have committed to preparing these documents as a matter of urgency for clients who are anxious about ensuring their wishes are validly and comprehensively formalised.

Our family department is also providing urgent advice on changes to child arrangement orders in the light of the current Government guidelines, protection against domestic violence in the family home and other general family matters including divorce.

The litigation team continue to carry out work resolving disputes on a wide range of issues.  We are also able to offer expert advice on employment issues including redundancy offers and termination of contracts.

The conveyancing team have been closely following the Law Society and Government guidelines regarding exchange and completion of contracts at this unprecedented time.   They have been working hard to reassure and advise our clients on their position given those guidelines and they will continue to progress conveyancing matters as far as possible as the guidelines evolve.

As a local firm we have been providing expert, friendly advice to the community for over 60 years.  We are working hard to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our clients, despite the challenges we are all facing.  If you need legal advice, please contact us by email or by telephone.
